Introducing Board Docs

The Bellevue City Schools, Board of Education is now using Board Docs. This new tool will allow the school board to be more efficient and provide more materials for the community to view.

Students Earn Limo Ride for Magazine Sale

Students in kindergarten through 5th grade earned lunch at East of Chicago arriving by limo! The students earned the prize by selling magazines.

Poppy Day kick off at BES with Mayor Don Berkey

On Wednesday, May 6 Mayor Don Berkey came to the elementary school to help kick off "Poppy Days". On hand to help him were Chloe Patrick, fifth grade and Kaden Wiekel, first grade. Connie Klingler, the poppy day chairman, organizes this event each year. The Poppys are sold at area stores to raise money and awareness of our wounded soldiers.


Right to Read Week

Right to Read Week begins May 18 through May 22!  The theme this year is "Get Wild About Reading"!

1st Grade Music Program 1M,1K,1BR, 1H

1st grade students in Mr. Majoy, Mrs. Kinnear, Mrs. Brown and half of Mrs. Herman's class performed a spring musical on Thurs. March 19th at 7:00. The musical was entitled "The Animals are Talking". Pictured here is "Mother Nature". The first graders did a wonderul job on their first performance!
