Digital Video
This course presents students with an introduction to the skills and concepts used in digital video production. Students are exposed to industry standard equipment and taught digital video production skills. Basic research areas include: field production and electronic image gathering, filed and studio lighting, and basic editing.
IT I
Integrated Technology is a modular based training program where students will have a ten hour introductory experience working on the following modules: Computer Troubleshooting, Computer Programming, Working with the Internet, Web Page Design, Computer Aided Publishing, Graphics and Animation, Multimedia Production, Digital Photography, Network Administration, Network Configuration, Computer Maintenance and Upgrade, and Investigating Computers. A variety of software is introduced including: Microsoft Publisher, Flash 5, PowerPoint, Photo Impact, Front Page and Visual Basic.
IT II Hardware
IT II is a modular based follow-up training program where students will have thirty additional hours of training available. The areas that will be studied are: Network Administration, Network Configuration, Computer Maintenance and Upgrade, Investigating Computers, and Computer Troubleshooting. Students are exposed to problem solving, working individually as well as developing social skills by working with a variety of partners. The knowledge that students gain from this class will help to prepare them for A+ certification.
IT II Software
IT II is a modular based follow-up training program where students will have thirty additional hours available of specialized study in Flash 5, Power Point, Photo Impact, Microsoft Publisher, HTML, and Front Page. Students will be assigned the task of integrating these software packages into real-life situations as a final project. Students are exposed to problem solving working individually as well as developing social skills by working with a variety of partners.
