Course Description |
| “Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow….don’t walk behind me, I may not lead….walk beside me, and be my friend.” There are times when we must follow and there are times when we must lead. Learn how to be an effective leader and effective follower. You might be put in charge of a team of workers at your place of employment. As an elected officer to an organization you may have to guide the membership in a productive direction. Will you have to lead a discussion? Skills to become an effective leader and follower will be the focus of this course. Other topics will include: parliamentary procedure, management skills, organization skills, public speaking skills, and leadership skills. |
