Welcome to Mrs. Weirich's Music page Good music makes life better! Creating, playing and singing music is a wonderful skill that children need to develop. In my music class the students will have the opportunity to perform these tasks.
My students will experience singing fun songs or rounds, playing the recorder(4-6 grade), doing a singing game or playing the instruments. We have a variety of xylophones, drums and non-pitched percussion for students to use.
We also use Share the Music curriculum which follows the state standards and gives a great variety of songs, activities and dances.
All students are expected to participate in the music activity planned for the day. I enjoy seeing students trying their best to sing and playing the instruments with the best effort. The most rewarding time in music is when the students begin to harmonize vocally and they like what they hear. I encourage all students to try and always do their best.
