| | E-mail | | I currently teach 5th grade at York School. I have been at York for the past 8 years. I taught third grade for the first 4 years and have spent the last 4 years teaching fifth grade. I teach three sections of Social Studies and two sections of Math. I am married and have two children, Jasmine(11) and Brayden (3). I also coach 7th grade girls basketball. I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with my family. I look forward to working with your child. 1. Study Island is a great website to help your child review skills taught. It also provides preparation for the Ohio Achievement Test. Your child should have a user name and password which was given to them at school. Once they log in they can choose a subject and take a test or review with a game.
2.The Colonial Family is a great site that gives students the chance to discover what life was like during this time period. Students will go back in time and investigate the life of a colonial family in the 1700's. A perfect fit for our Social Studies curriculum.
3.Cool Math is a fun site for the whole family. It provides Math lessons and games to enjoy with your child. This site covers a variety of Math skills to help improve your child's Math ability and give him/her confidence. |
