School Notification Text Messages Now Available

We are adding text messaging capability to SchoolMessenger Communicate, the system we use now for phone calls and emails. The system will be configured to send text messages to cell phone numbers whose recipients have agreed to receive them.

There are only two requirements to receive messages via SMS text:

  1. The recipient’s wireless number registered with our systems
  2. “Opt-In Confirmation” from the recipient’s wireless device by simply sending “Y” (or “Yes”) to our SchoolMessenger Invitation Short Code 67587

We will be inviting recipients to do this over the next several weeks and continue throughout the year.

Bellevue City Schools has partnered with Final Forms Final Forms Check

We are very excited to announce that the Bellevue City Schools has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign enrollment, contact and athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from year-to-year and season-to-season, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.

IMPORTANT BMS & BHS ATHLETE PHYSICAL INFORMATION

Due to Covid-19 situation, parents are encouraged to have their family physician perform their son or daughter's athletic physical this summer.

Athletic Physical Forms can be picked up at Bellevue High School or located online at www.ohsaa.org.  Click on Sports Medicine, then click on Pre-Participation Physical Exam Form, then click on 2020-21 form.

- All completed forms need to be returned to BHS or BMS depending on their grade in the fall.

- All physical forms need to be turned into BHS or BMS by August 1, the first official practice day of the fall season.

- No athlete will be allowed to begin practice without a physical.

- All incoming 7th grade athletes are required to get their physical completed by their family physician.

The Bellevue Hospital will also be offering free physicals again this summer. This summer it will only be for Fall Sport Athletes (incoming 8th-12th graders) to reduce the number due to CoVid 19.   Dates will be  July 29 & 30.   These will be done at Bellevue High School this summer.   More information will be coming out in mid July to parents, athletes and coaches about the physical times for these two days for only Fall Sport Athletes.

Winter & Spring Sport Athletes can also get their physical done anytime by their family physician and turn in the completed physical.
