What is WATCH D.O.G.?

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students is an innovative program focusing on education and safety in schools by using the positive influence of fathers and father-figures to:

  • Provide positive male role models for the students demonstrating, by their presence, that education is important
  • To provide an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance school security & reduce bullying
  • The mission is to improve the well-being of children by inspiring and equipping men to be more effectively involved in the lives of children.

  • YOU- fathers, step-fathers, grandfathers and father-figures get to be a hero for the day and impact the lives of the children in our school and community!

Who are WATCH D.O.G.S.?

Dads Of Great Students are fathers and father-figures (grandfathers, uncles and other male adults) who are asked to spend at least one day a year at their student’s school volunteering as a positive role model.

  • These men actively engage with not only their student(s) but the entire student body.

  • On the day of their participation, WatchDOGS:

    1. Participate in a short orientation with a WATCH D.O.G.S. representative

    2. Are given a daily schedule of responsibilities

    3. Wear their WATCH D.O.G.S. t-shirts to be easily identified as an approved volunteer for the program (given on the first day of volunteering)
