Why did you want to serve as a board member?
As a proud Bellevue graduate, lifelong resident, and parent of four Bellevue alumni, I have a deep-rooted commitment to this community. Bellevue is more than where I live, it’s where my husband and I grew up and fell in love, where we chose to raise our family, and where I spent much of my professional life. For the first 17 years of my career, I had the privilege of serving our community through my work at The Bellevue Hospital. Now, I’m honored to continue that service in a new way. With my background in education and leadership, I’m excited to contribute my skills and experiences to support our students, families, and staff. Serving on the school board is a way for me to give back and help ensure Bellevue’s schools continue to thrive for generations to come.

I am an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and currently serve as the Chairperson of the St. John’s Christian Preschool Board.
I stay busy as a state and national leader in my medical imaging professions, traveling with my husband and enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren.
Favorite part of serving on the Board:
I’m looking forward to collaborating with fellow board members, educators, and families to help shape a strong future for Bellevue students. I anticipate my favorite part will be seeing the direct impact of our decisions on students’ growth and success, both in the classroom and beyond. It will be incredibly rewarding to support the continued excellence of Bellevue Schools and to help ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
