Paperless Technology for Board Meetings
In an effort to save time, money, and the environment, the Bellevue Board of Education made the decision to go paperless. BoardDocs LT is an internet-based site that will enable staff, board members, and most importantly, the general public access to meeting agendas as well as other board-related files and policies.

Enrollment and Athletic Forms and Policies

All Enrollment and Athletic forms and policies are delivered and collected online via Final Forms. Enrollment information is processed at the Board of Education Office located at 125 North Street, Bellevue Ohio. The Board of Education Office phone number is: 419-484-5000. If your student is Open Enrollment, please note the annual form in the section below.

Athletic information is processed by the school the student attends. Schedules, Rosters and other athletic related content is available on the Athletic Home page.

Parents and Students have access to all of their information in Final Forms year round and may update or change it at any time.

Bullying Information

Between August 22, 2022 & May 26, 2023 Bellevue City Schools had Three (3) reported incident of bullying.

Reporting Requirement:
At least semi-annually, the Superintendent shall provide to the President of the Board a written summary of all reported incidents and post the summary on the District web site (if one exists). The list shall be limited to the number of verified acts of harassment, intimidation, and/or bullying, whether in the classroom, on school property, to and from school, or at school-sponsored events.

On July 2, 2009, the Southern District of Ohio granted the parties Second Joint Motion for Preliminary Approval of Partial Class Action Settlement in the case of John Doe, et al., v. State of Ohio, et al., Case No. 2:91-cv-464 (Doe v. State of Ohio). The partial settlement, which is reflected in a Consent Order, concerns certain claims regarding the State of Ohio?s procedures for implementing the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Improvement Act of 2004) (IDEA). The Consent Order is attached, as is a notice describing the lawsuit, the proposed settlement and upcoming proceedings on this matter. Ohio students with disabilities and their parents or guardians have the ability to submit written comments or objections regarding the Consent Order. These comments or objections must be submitted by September 16, 2009 to:

Federal Grant Information

The Bellevue City School District has received the yearly applications for federally funded grant programs, including Title I, Title II-A, Early Childhood Special Education and IDEA-B. IDEA-B money is earmarked for programs for students with disabilities under the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Education, subject to approval by the Office of Exceptional Children. Anyone who wishes to receive information or offer suggestions regarding the application should contact Jacquline Montgomery, Director of Special Education.

March 2 Success is a FREE website providing our users access to online study materials to help improve their scores on standardized tests such as state exit exams, college entrance exams, military entrance exam (ASVAB) and others. Our content includes self-paced study programs in Math, English and Science, with a focus of materials on grades 8-12. The High School Math and Verbal Skills course and College Readiness online course each start with a pre-assessment test, using the results to generate a custom learning path. The learning path includes interactive lessons, quizzes and additional practice tests. The High School Science Hub provides lessons and practice tests in Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

National Military Family Association

NMFA is the voice of military families because, for 49 years, we have proven that we stand behind service members, their spouses, and their children. Our Association is the “go to” source for Administration Officials, Members of Congress, and key decision makers when they want to understand the issues facing our families. They know we have “boots on the ground” with military families and understand better than anyone that “military families serve, too.” Through the support and programs, we provide, and our respected voice on Capitol Hill and with the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs, our Association always looks out for the families who stand behind the uniform and for those who serve.

ODE - Supporting Ohio’s Military Families

The Ohio Department of Education is eliminating fees for educator licenses to recognize the contributions of military families. Beginning Jan. 2, 2015, the fees for any initial Ohio educator license, permit or certificate – or for a renewal – will be waived for candidates who are veterans or current service members of all branches of the United States Armed Forces, including the National Guard or Reserves. Spouses of active duty services members also may receive a license free of charge.

Real Warriors

The Real Warriors Campaign is a multimedia public awareness campaign through the Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE) to support the promotion of psychological health, reduce stigma of psychological health concerns and encourage help seeking behavior for service members, veterans and their families.
